WHY IMPERFECTLY EMPOWERED

This isn’t just generic coaching.

Most coaching spaces will ask you to pick a lane.

... ADHD coaching that focuses on planners and productivity hacks
... Career coaching that helps you look better on paper, even if you’re over it
... Mindset coaching that skips over your nervous system entirely

This is NOT that.

Imperfectly Empowered is a space where:

  • You don’t have to choose between identity and strategy

  • You don’t have to over-explain your brain

  • You don’t have to push through, fix yourself, or fake confidence to move forward

We start with your lived experience.
We name your strengths, your needs, and what no longer fits.
We rebuild around what’s actually true for your life, your brain, and your energy.

WHO THIS IS FOR

You’re in the right place if…

  • You’ve built a whole career on autopilot, and now it feels misaligned, invisible, or like it’s draining the life out of you.

  • You’re constantly toggling between burnout, big ideas, and total decision paralysis.

  • You’re a mid-career woman, parent, or multi-hyphenate wondering, “How did I get this far and still feel this stuck?”

  • You’ve tried therapy, journaling, self-help, or even quitting… but still haven’t landed in something that actually feels like you.

  • You’re starting to understand your neurodivergence but don’t yet know how to translate that insight into choices that fit.

  • You’re ready to stop over-functioning and start building a life you don’t have to recover from.

MEET THE COACH

I didn’t feel broken. I just felt... off.
Like something wasn’t clicking, but I couldn’t explain why.
I was capable but exhausted. Grateful but misaligned.
And constantly wondering why “success” still felt like survival.

Hey, I’m Kaci. I’m a former speech-language pathologist, PMP-certified project manager, late-diagnosed ADHDer, bi woman, artist, author of an upcoming neurodivergence-affirming picture book, parent to a neurodivergent child, and someone who’s spent a lot of time trying to make systems work that were never built for brains like mine.

I’ve lived the pivot. I’ve navigated the burnout, the diagnosis, the quiet unmasking.

I spent over a decade in healthcare, working in clinics, schools, and nonprofits. I was an AAC expert, helping people find ways to communicate when their voices weren’t being heard. That passion still runs deep. But behind every credential and role I held, I was quietly burning out.

Not because I wasn’t good at my job, but because I was constantly misunderstood, misread, and misaligned.

I’ve reinvented myself more than once.
I’ve been the woman with a master’s degree and a résumé full of gold stars… quietly unraveling under the weight of constant over-functioning, masking, and second-guessing.

After leaving the field, I tried a non-clinical role in insurance. It nearly broke me. It took a coffee shop job, a diagnosis, and a full nervous system crash for me to realize: I wasn’t failing. I was finally waking up.

I pivoted into tech. Into roles that looked better from the outside but still left me drained. And while the environments changed, the deeper pattern didn’t. I was still chasing jobs that made sense on paper, but never actually fit.

What did stick and what always felt natural was leadership. Mentorship. Holding space. Helping others navigate their own unraveling.

That clarity is what led me to coaching.
Not as a fallback. As a finally.
A return to the work I was always meant to do. This time, unmasked.

What I needed wasn’t a new job title.
It was permission to rebuild my life and work around who I actually am.

That realization led me here.
To Imperfectly Empowered.

This space was created with late-diagnosed and mid-career neurodivergent folks in mind—specifically women (trans women included, always) and nonbinary people. Those who’ve done the work, followed the rules, held it all together, and are finally ready to do something different.

Because it was never really about figuring it all out.
It was about finally figuring you back in.

Frequently Asked Questions

My work centers the experience of neurodivergent women navigating masking, misalignment, and burnout. Trans women are deeply welcome here. If you’re gender-expansive and resonate with this space, you’re welcome too. Cis men, this isn’t the room for you.

Nope. Whether you’re formally diagnosed, self-identified, or still unpacking what it all means, if this resonates, you’re welcome here.

Yep. I offer extended payment plans for the group coaching program and am open to discussing accessibility if this work feels like a strong fit.

Totally fair question. Especially if you’ve burned out on coaching that felt generic or therapy that never quite got how your brain works.

Imperfectly Empowered is different.

It’s a blend of coaching, mentoring, and strategy designed for neurodivergent professionals navigating career misalignment, burnout, and big identity shifts.

We work on the real stuff :
career pivots, finding culture-fit roles, personal branding, advocating for accommodations, or reworking what you already have alongside the mindset reflection and identity work that helps you stop masking and start trusting yourself again.

This isn’t surface-level productivity advice. It’s strategic, supportive, and built around how you actually think, feel, and function.

It’s what I wish I had when I was stuck.

You’ve done everything “right.”
Now you’re ready to do what’s actually true.

You built the career. You earned the degrees. You held it all together through pressure, masking, perfectionism, and a quiet knowing that none of it really fit.

Then came the diagnosis. Or maybe just the realization. ADHD, AuDHD, burnout, an identity that never quite matched what the world expected from you.

Suddenly, you saw it.
It wasn’t you. It was the systems. The stories. The roles you were handed and told to perform.

Now you’re ready to do it differently, but you don’t want to burn it all down. You want clarity that honors your nervous system. Strategy that sees your full identity. Work that feels aligned in your body, not just impressive on paper.

That’s what we do here.
